Dr Walkow - Orthdontist in Newport Beach

Dr. Walkow graduated with honors from the orthodontic residency program at Harvard University. While at Harvard, he received his Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Public Health School. Dr. Walkow received his dental degree from Tufts University in 1996. As a student at Tufts, he served as class president for four consecutive terms. At graduation Dr. Walkow received the honor of delivering the class address and was awarded certificates of merit from the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Robert R Andrews Honor Society, and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.

Dr. Walkow takes an active role in meeting and exceeding the standards of his profession by serving on the Board of the California Association of Orthodontists. He also volunteers on the Cleft Lip/Palate and Craniofacial Team at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), as well as teaching at UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr Walkow is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists and maintains active membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Walkow is strongly committed to his community where he is on the Board of Trustees of Harbor Day School and the Board of Directors for the Big Brothers/Sisters of Orange County.

Dr. Walkow specializes in early treatment for children as well as interdisciplinary adult care. He was recognized for the fifth year in a row as a Premier Provider for Invisalign and has been Invisalign's top provider in Orange County over the same period of time.

Dr. Walkow is a native of Southern California. He attended the University of California Irvine. Dr. Walkow currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife Moujan and children Lily, Nicholas, and Ava.
